Get Fit Club ZOOM – 10 Tuesdays – 3:30-4:30pm – 1/11 thru 3/15

Get Fit Club is a 10-week on-going health education program that provides a support team to reach individual goals. Participants are given a weeklychecklist to mark off fruit, veggie, water, me time, and exercise progress each day. Choose from one of two weekly Zoom meeting times Tuesdays  4:45 to 5:45pm that offer a time to share our progress with our very encouraging support group. We study healthy choices and positive thoughts for physical and mental health.

We provide weekly checklists and incentives to motivate progress (binder provided). We send out a weekly email with the zoom link and tips, videos and handouts. We hope to meet in person towards the end of the session, date to be determined.

This community health education program is provided in partnership with Inside Health Institute

Instructors:  Jill Rogers  & Dr. Michele Mayatte                                50 maximum per class

Jill Rogers is a licensed Recreational Therapist who has worked with people with developmental disabilities for over 28 years. Jill has a great connection with families and program participants focusing on friendship, confidence, self-expression and building talents in Art, Music, Drama, wellness, advocacy and community connections.

Dr. Michele Mayatte is a naturopathic physician with advanced training in nutrition and chronic illness management. She believes healthy food and lifestyle choices are the basis for a healthy life. She has spent several years working with people with developmental disabilities educating them about making healthy choices for their long-term wellness.
